Founded in 2023, Imagine Technical Institute (ITI) is a vocational training and employment services provider for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in southwest Missouri. Working in collaboration with Boone Center, Inc. (BCI) in St. Peters, Mo., ITI empowers people with disabilities to find and retain jobs in our local community working alongside non-disabled individuals while earning the same opportunities, benefits, and pay. ITI is the dream of Hollister, Mo. native Tim Connell. His passion to create a school for people with disabilities developed as he volunteered for disability-related organizations following his son's Autism diagnosis. ITI partners with inclusive-minded, forward-thinking businesses to create training programs. From these partnerships come real opportunities for meaningful, immediate work for ITI students—and skilled, dedicated workers for ITI business partners.  

ITI serves adults with disabilities living in Taney, Christian, and Greene counties in southwest Missouri. 

Our vocational training center is located in Hollister, Mo. However, vocational training is typically held at our partner-employer worksites. That means, as we grow, training opportunities will happen throughout the region. 

Our traditional employment services are available to residents of Taney, Christian, and Green counties. 

As a partner of Boone Center, Inc., ITI is accredited by CARF for Employment Skills Training and Community Employment.  Accreditation demonstrates a provider's commitment to continuously improve service quality and to focus on the satisfaction of the persons served.
